The Magcubic HY350Pro is an affordable smart projector built around native 1080p resolution, a manufacturer-rated 580 ANSI brightness, Android 11, Wi-Fi 6, and electronic focus.
At around $126 at the time of research, it sits close to several other Magcubic home projectors, including the newer HY350MAX.
The specifications make the HY350Pro interesting for inexpensive home entertainment, but some of the marketing terminology requires clarification. In particular, the HY350Pro is sometimes promoted with “4K” wording even though its native optical resolution is 1920 × 1080. Magcubic's current product listing confirms both native 1080p resolution and 4K video support.
Review note: Blog60s has not conducted hands-on testing of the Magcubic HY350Pro. This article is a research-based review using manufacturer specifications and publicly available product information. Manufacturer performance claims are not presented as independent Blog60s measurements. Prices, specifications, software features, and availability may change over time.

Native 1080p: Is the HY350Pro Really a 4K Projector?
This is one of the most important specifications to understand.
The HY350Pro has a native optical resolution of:
1920 × 1080 pixels.
Magcubic also advertises 4K video support or 4K decoding.
Those two specifications do not mean the same thing.
A projector can accept or decode higher-resolution video while still displaying the final image at the resolution of its physical imaging system.
Therefore, the HY350Pro should be considered a native 1080p projector with 4K source support, not a native 4K projector.
This distinction is especially important when comparing inexpensive projectors because “4K support” can easily be mistaken for native 4K resolution.
How Bright Is 580 ANSI?
Magcubic rates the HY350Pro at 580 ANSI lumens. The company's current product page continues to use this figure.
Magcubic rates the HY350Pro at 580 ANSI lumens.
On paper, that makes it brighter than many of Magcubic's smaller entry-level models.
However, the promotional image supplied by Magcubic suggests that the projector can provide bright colors in indoor daylight or with some lights on. That should be treated as a manufacturer marketing claim rather than an independent demonstration of real-world performance.
Blog60s has not independently measured the HY350Pro's light output.
For a projector in this class, controlling ambient light is still sensible. A darker room should generally help perceived contrast and image impact, particularly when using a larger projected image.
The maximum screen size should not automatically be the target either. Spreading the available light across a larger area can reduce perceived image brightness.
Electronic Focus, Not Autofocus
The HY350Pro uses electronic focus.
This is important because electronic focus and autofocus are not the same feature.
Electronic focus allows the user to adjust focus electronically, typically using the remote or projector controls, instead of manually rotating a physical focus ring.
It does not mean the projector automatically determines and adjusts the correct focus by itself.
Magcubic's current HY350Pro specification explicitly identifies its focus system as electronic focus.
This distinction will matter particularly for buyers comparing the HY350Pro with the HY350MAX, which uses autofocus.
Automatic Vertical Keystone Correction
Although focusing is electronic rather than automatic, the HY350Pro does provide automatic vertical keystone correction according to Magcubic.
Horizontal adjustment is listed as manual.
Keystone correction can be useful when the projector cannot be positioned perfectly perpendicular to the projection surface.
However, physical alignment remains preferable where possible. Heavy digital correction can alter the usable image area, so automatic keystone should be viewed as a convenience feature rather than a replacement for good projector placement.
40–150 Inch Projection
Magcubic specifies a projection range of approximately 40 to 150 inches, with a projection distance of roughly 1.2 to 4 meters.
That gives users flexibility to adapt the image to different rooms.
A smaller image can be appropriate for bedrooms or apartments, while a larger projection may be attractive for movie nights and sports.
Again, maximum advertised image size does not necessarily provide the best picture.
As projection size increases, available light is spread across a larger area. Room lighting and viewing distance should therefore be considered when choosing image size.
Android 11 Smart Features
The HY350Pro runs Android 11 and uses an Allwinner H713 processor.
Magcubic's more detailed regional listing also specifies a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and lists 2GB RAM plus 32GB storage.
Built-in Android can reduce dependence on an external streaming device for compatible apps.
However, an Android version number alone does not guarantee certification for every major streaming service.
Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and other platforms can use their own DRM and device-certification requirements. App availability and maximum streaming resolution can therefore differ between devices.
If a particular streaming service is essential, buyers should verify its current compatibility before purchase.
An external HDMI streaming stick remains another option.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth
The HY350Pro supports Wi-Fi 6, including 2.4GHz and 5GHz connectivity according to Magcubic's detailed product information.
Bluetooth is also supported.
There is, however, an inconsistency in Magcubic's own documentation.
The current HY350Pro product description refers to Bluetooth 5.0, while Magcubic's HY350 comparison table lists Bluetooth 5.4.
Because those official sources conflict, Blog60s does not present a specific Bluetooth version as definitive.
The safest conclusion is simply that the HY350Pro supports Bluetooth, while buyers who require a particular Bluetooth specification should verify the current hardware revision before purchase.
HDMI, USB and External Devices
The HY350Pro includes useful physical connectivity for external sources.
Magcubic lists:
1 × HDMI input
1 × USB
1 × 3.5mm audio output
along with its power connection.
HDMI allows the projector to work with compatible laptops, consoles, streaming devices, and other video sources.
This is particularly useful if the built-in Android environment does not support a particular app or service in the way you need.
What About Gaming?
The combination of native 1080p resolution, HDMI connectivity, and a large projected image can make the HY350Pro interesting for casual gaming.
But there is an important missing specification:
Blog60s has not independently measured input lag.
Magcubic's promotional material emphasizes Wi-Fi performance and gaming, but network speed is not the same thing as display latency.
Competitive games can be sensitive to the delay between controller input and what appears on screen.
For casual games, racing, sports, and slower-paced titles, a projector can provide an entertaining large-screen experience. Buyers specifically seeking competitive gaming performance should look for reliable independent input-lag measurements.
Built-In Speaker
The HY350Pro includes a built-in speaker, but Magcubic's published specifications are inconsistent about its power rating.
The current product page lists 1 × 5W, while Magcubic's HY350-series comparison table lists 1 × 3W.
For that reason, Blog60s does not consider either wattage sufficiently consistent to present as an unquestioned specification.
What can be established is that the projector includes built-in audio and supports external audio connectivity.
For more immersive movie viewing, an external speaker or sound system may still be preferable.
Light Source Life
Magcubic advertises a light-source life of approximately 30,000 hours or more for the HY350Pro.
Magcubic advertises more than 30,000 hours of optical light-source life for the HY350Pro.
The promotional image translates this into roughly 20 years when used for four hours per day.
That is a manufacturer longevity claim rather than a Blog60s endurance test.
Actual service life can depend on operating conditions, heat, component aging, usage patterns, and other factors.

Who Should Consider the HY350Pro?
Based on its published specifications, the HY350Pro is primarily suited to buyers looking for an affordable projector for bedroom movies, casual home theater, sports, family entertainment, streaming, and occasional big-screen gaming.
Native 1080p resolution and the 580-ANSI manufacturer rating are its headline picture specifications, while Android 11 and Wi-Fi 6 provide its smart-platform foundation.
Electronic focus can also be more convenient than a traditional manual focus ring.
However, users who frequently reposition their projector may prefer a model with actual autofocus, while buyers who need strong performance in bright rooms should consider a substantially brighter projector rather than relying on promotional daylight imagery.
Is the Magcubic HY350Pro Worth Considering?
At approximately $125.64 at the time of research, the HY350Pro offers native 1080p resolution, a 580-ANSI manufacturer rating, Android 11, Wi-Fi 6, electronic focus, automatic vertical keystone correction, and a 40–150-inch advertised projection range.
Its biggest limitations are also relatively clear.
It does not provide native 4K resolution, its electronic focus should not be confused with autofocus, it has no internal battery, and some secondary specifications published by Magcubic are inconsistent.
The HY350Pro therefore makes the most sense as an affordable native 1080p smart projector for controlled-light home entertainment, rather than as a substitute for a premium home-theater projector.
There is also an interesting complication within Magcubic's own lineup: the HY350MAX is currently listed at around $118.99, compared with approximately $125.64 for the HY350Pro.
For that reason, specifications—not the “Pro” or “MAX” names alone—matter when choosing between these models.
